Cisco Certified Network Professional 

Cisco Career Certifications are a type of IT Professional certifications created by Cisco Systems for their products. Pearson VUE administers tests required to obtain such certification. The certification breaks down into five levels: Entry, Associate, Professional, Expert, and Architect along with targeted certifications for Specialist and Technician.

The CCNP validates the ability to plan implement verify and troubleshoot local and wide area enterprise networks and work collaboratively with specialists on advanced security, voice, wireless, and video solutions. In addition to CCNA exams, professionals must pass three separate professional level exams.

  • 642-902 ROUTE: Implementing Cisco IP Routing (ROUTE)
  • 642-813 SWITCH: Implementing Cisco IP Switched Networks (SWITCH)
  • 642-832 TSHOOT: Troubleshooting and Maintaining Cisco IP Networks (TSHOOT)
